WorkSearch System helps mature job seekers of all ages to:

 

* quickly assess if you have the right skills for your choice job;

* identify job choices based on your interests, personal characteristics, skills, and experience;

* create an action plan to help meet your training and job goals;

* access to job openings based on your area, or zip code; and

* access to online training programs to fill skill gaps.

 

AARP Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is under the umbrella of AARP Foundation WorkSearch and continues to serve mature workers 55 years of age and older, who meet income guidelines, unemployed, and residents of the County.

 

SCSEP provides eligible participants with on the job experience to develop and update skills through paid training assignments at partnering not-for-profit and public agencies. The goal is   to assist participants in obtaining full or part time unsubsidized jobs in their community.
